Terroir de Saint Alban 2021

Fresh Alpine white. 50% each of Altesse and Jacquere - Savoie specialties. Despite a wet year, the delayed ripening for both grapes made for a well balanced wine. Ripe enough, whilst retaining acidity. No sulfites, not filtered. Fresh, fruity, floral and minerally thanks to both parts in this cuvee marriage. Pressed directly off skins then aged in stainless steel (⅔) and oak (⅓). This wine is planted in the terroir of Saint-Alban in limestone soils facing south on the Bauges massif. Developed range of flavours and with the acidity levels it’s easy-drinking and very food friendly.
