In addition to a large number of vineyards in Burgenland, Meinklang's oldest vineyards are located just across the border in the Hungarian volcanic region of Somló, which is named after the Somló volcano of the same name.
Hárslevelű is brewed here together with the Somló-specific Juhfark ancestral method to pet nat , and like the Vulkán also has a clear tropical profile, in this case with cape berries, pineapple and mango. Beautifully sour, nicely fizzy and distinctly minerally rich. Dethrones every other bubble in this price range, if you ask us.
