Makaridze – Aladasturi Rosé 2021

Made from Aladasturi vines averaging 45 years old in clay, limestone soil. This light pink rosé is a drinker, crisp and salty. Notes of dry spices and sour cherries. Winemaker Gogita has masterfully delivered another vibrant example of what to do with this local variety, as he is known to do. Aged in qvevri, the precision has been preserved, not in the manner of those more earthy qvevri wines from Eastern Georgia. A rosé wine for rosé times.
