Cascina Tavijn – TOC #1 – 2020

Light, aromatic red from indigenous grape Slarina from a young vineyard, planted over clay in Asti. The grapes are destemmed and kept on the skins for two months, then briefly in barrels. It’s one for gnocchi and rice dishes with dark sauces. Or straight up.
